Please turn over: IT2media puts print products on the internet
Munich, January 12th 2010. IT2media will be exhibiting again at “komma”, southern Bavaria’s leading trade fair for marketing and communication. On January 26th and 27th, the advertising services specialist will once again present a range of ideas as to how publishers, companies and agencies can advertise creatively on the internet and using other digital applications.
One of these ideas is the revolving “advertising cube” which turns one advertising space into six within virtually the same surface area, combining various media such as text, visuals and video clips to create a striking advertising message. Fresh from the IT2media software laboratory, the first version of “ADFlyer” will also be on show. In just a few steps, this innovation is able to transform a print product into an attractive digital advertisement - as easy to read as if it were on paper. For more details, read the press release below and visit IT2media at “komma” - M,O,C, Munich, stand C06.
Simply creative: the AD3D advertising cube
AD3D allows publishers, companies and agencies to move forward into a whole new dimension of advertising: the “advertising cube” turns a single advertising space into six spaces, combining text, visuals and video clips to create a striking advertising message. All that is required is the templates which would be used for conventional digital advertising. The cube is easy to create using a Generator which even non-experts can instantly grasp: you simply select the direction and speed of rotation and the size of the cube, and the advertisement is available digitally for easy incorporation into directories and websites. Not only is the display strikingly attractive, it offers also playful interactive functions: the mouse cursor can be used to change the direction in which the cube turns and to view its different faces. This form of advertising is especially suitable for those who wish to set themselves apart from the competition positively, as well as packing lots of information and selling points into a small space. There is also a presentation solution called AD3D Webshowcase which is designed for agencies and those who sell advertising space: it enables the user to simulate the creation of an advertising cube so as to arouse customers’ interest in this form of advertising.
As if it were paper: ADFlyer links print products to the digital world
"Appealing and simple to realise” - this is the approach adopted by IT2media with its latest innovation “ADFlyer”. The idea here is that PDFs of the products are used to create a range of digital advertising materials which combine conventional reading properties with the benefits of the digital world. The mouse cursor simulates the user’s index finger and is used to turn the pages back and forth. The zoom function allows users to adapt the display to their individual preferences, with well-structured preview windows making it easy to maintain a clear overview. Those who wish to search for very specific items of information can use the search engine or else will find key points of information in the table of contents. As with the AD3D “advertising cube”, the aim here is to provide users with a handy instrument for implementing creative advertising solutions.
If you would like to see the numerous possible applications of AD3D and ADFlyer at first hand, come to “komma”, the trade fair for marketing and communication, on January 26th and 27th 2009 at M,O,C, in Munich, stand C06.
