AD3D wins directory media prize
Munich, June 24th 2008. Good news at this year‘s VDAV Directory Media Prize: IT2media GmbH & Co.KG from Munich, market leader in the field of IT solutions for directory providers in Germany, received the coveted award for associated companies for its AD3D concept.

The jury praised the idea of three-dimensional advertising spaces: within a limited area, revolving cubes can display as many as six advertising spaces, for example. IT2media calls this new online advertising tool “Online Advertising3”. Providers can put out many more advertising messages in this way using cubes, cylinders and other geometrical shapes than with conventional online advertising. Potential customers are provided with a hands-on way of finding out about the products and services on offer, and advertisers finally have sufficient space to present benefits in full detail.
In order to keep the work involved in created advertising spaces to a reasonable level, the IT2media team has developed the A3D3 Generator. This allows users to integrate graphics quickly and simply so as to create attractive advertising spaces. Then it’s just a matter of setting the direction of rotation, speed of rotation and cube size - and the graphic can be uploaded. In a few easy steps, the file is available for incorporation in online directories or websites.
The AD3D Web Showcase has been developed for the field staff of directory services and agencies. This presentation solution allows the three-dimensional possibilities of AD3D to be demonstrated in a highly effective manner - including demo cubes which can be turned in different directions.
